StartFragmentSometimes, it really feels like everything is going wrong and nothing could get worse. Sometimes, it feels like God isn't there. Ever felt that way? I often struggle with feelings of loneliness and wondering why God put me where I am. Sometimes, I just ask God "why??" But then I have to remember that God has a plan and His plan is for a much better, bigger picture then what I'm thinking. God's plan is for me to prosper, for a good future, and not to harm me (Jeremiah 29:11). Jeremiah 29:11 talks about God's great plan for our lives and how He wants us to prosper. But we have to remember that He has given us the gift of free will-- we choose how we live our lives. We can't just choose to live like the world, saying "my sin is okay, because God has a plan and eventually, He'll straighten all this out. I'm just gonna live in the moment and God'll fix it later." No- this is not how we should live. We are responsible for our actions, and although God will forgive our sins, we do have to make those sins right with those we have wronged. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10). As Christians, we are called to live out God's will by living in a manner that pleases Him. When we strive to please Him, we will better understand His plan over our lives.
