StartFragmentWe have to face it at some point- this life will be over soon. Although I hate to put it like this, we will all die, unless Christ comes back before we pass on. This life is fleeting; short. Instead of focusing on this passing life, our focus should be on the eternal one to come soon. "Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of Heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand," says Colossians 3:1. The realities of Heaven. I love that. It shows that our current problems- drama, self image, family, etc.- are not what really matter. What matters is that we have eternal life to look forward to, and we should be working our hardest to please God. Our goal should be that at the end of our life, God says "well done, my faithful servant." So let's work hard not to concern ourselves with things of this world, and to please Christ. More scripture on this topic- Colossians 3:1-11, 2 Timothy 2:2-10 EndFragment
