StartFragmentYou are loved. It may not seem like it sometimes, but believe me, you are loved. God's love for us is greater than we could EVER imagine. He gave His one and only Son to die for us-- just think about that for a second. Today's Scriptures: Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 13, 1 Peter 5:7 Ever feel like nothing could be going worse? Chances are, you've felt like no one is there for you, no one cares, or no one loves you. But none of that is ever true- ever. Romans 5:8 says "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Do you hear that? Christ died for us-- that is an ultimate sign of God's love for you and me. We were still sinners, we still are, but still Christ gave His life for us. Read 1 Corinthians 13. Yep, the whole chapter:) I've grown up reading that chapter, over and over and I've even memorized it. But it wasn't until a few weeks ago that I realized that that chapter is about Jesus. Jesus is the ultimate love- the One who showed ultimate love. Go back through the chapter and replace the word "love" with Jesus. Jesus is patient, Jesus is kind.... Jesus keeps no record of wrongs. That's a big one. Jesus keeps no records of wrongs. He sees what we do wrong, but He forgives us and moves on and continues to love us like crazy. No matter what we do, there is nothing- absolutely nothing- that could tear us away from His love (Romans 8:39). "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." When you feel unloved, worried, angry, upset, hurt, cast you cares upon God because he does care for you. He really loves you and nothing is too small for Him to care about. So cast your cares upon Him. You are loved. Need some encouragement in your day?
